Macbook 13 inch bag pattern PDF - Mac case - by LeatherHubPatterns

Use this PDF pattern to make yourself a Macbook 13 inch case / satchel to carry your laptop safely on the shoulder. It slides perfectly tight and protects the corners even when dropped. I dropped mine 2-3 times and nothing.

- The Mac is a tight fit in this bag so you may also look at it as to a sleeve. It has two pockets which can hold the charger and cable, a mouse and several dongles.
- The fastening is achieved by using the three straps and no more. This is a very secure method which also prevents the flap from flapping around.
- If you wish to put a strap on it and carry it on the shoulder then you will need two 20 mm D-rings, a buckle and two carabiners.
- We used 5-6 oz veg tan ( ~ 2 mm thick ) but you can use any other weight as long as the leather has some stiffness to it.

💡 The absolute minimum tools you'll need for this project are a cutter ( box opener ), a metal ruler, a mallet, a 2 and a 4 mm punch, two blunt needles and a cutting mat. We use masking tape to prepare the pattern and always sew with 1 mm waxed thread. That's short and sweet but please PM us for more info if you're just starting out.
