Owl leather bag pattern PDF - by LeatherHubPatterns

Crafted from vegetable-tanned leather, this DIY owl bag pattern features a precise PDF template to help you hand-stitch a whimsical crossbody.

- We used about .71 square meter ( ~ 7.7 sq feet ) of 5-6 oz ( ~ 2 mm ) vegetable tanned leather for the entire project.
- The measurements are about 280 mm ( ~ 11 inches ) in length , 260 mm ( ~ 10 inches ) in height and 120 mm ( ~ 5 inches ) in thickness
- You will need two 30 mm D-rings, a magnetic snap clasp, 8 rivets and a 30 mm buckle.

💡 The absolute minimum tools you'll need for this project are a cutter ( box opener ), a metal ruler, a mallet, a 2 and a 4 mm punch, two blunt needles and a cutting mat. We use masking tape to prepare the pattern and always sew with 1 mm waxed thread. That's short and sweet but please PM us for more info if you're just starting out.
