Hello and welcome to our shop!

VIdeo tutorial https://youtu.be/BW_7urj7Ksk

- This is a digital PDF pattern meant to guide you through creating a medieval leather knight helmet as shown in the pictures.
- We used 7-8 oz ( 2-3 mm ) vegetable tanned leather for the entire project along with 60 rivets long enough to be set through three layers of thicker leather.
- A medium - small vise would come in handy for setting the last of the rivets but you can get crafty!

This was a very fun project, only took me 4 hours from undyed hide to finished product. I did have an anvil which was a huge blessing. I dyed all the shiny parts with fiebings dark brown then one coat of a metallic paint i like and it gave me the exact look i was going for. Will gladly be using this pattern again for some other projects. I will say from the video tutorial i would probably hold off on doing that 1 singular rivet that holds the mask to the head band till its time to rivet on the rest of the mask because it just just flopping in the way. I feel like it wouldnt be hard to put on later but that may have also been because of my anvil.

Great looking helmet! Thank you!

Simple and it works well.

Sehr zufrieden. Immer wieder jederzeit

This was one of the most frustrating projects I’ve made so far. Mainly because I can’t count hole apparently and had to re do my rivets a few times haha! The way the artist can’t take 2D flat leather and design these awesome pieces is astounding. I aspire to be them! Haha
