Newsboy flat cap leather pattern PDF - by LeatherHubPatterns

This is a digital PDF pattern and tutorial for making an awesome flat cap with lining and all. The pattern includes full scale assembly parts with stitching holes and there's a video tutorial too.

- We used 2-3 oz ( ~ 1 mm ) leather for the shell and the lining and 6 oz ( ~ 2 mm ) vegetable tanned leather for the brim insertion.
- You will also need about 20-30 cm ( 1 ft ) of lace and ten eyelets.
- The cap comes in all sizes so please measure your head circumference before proceeding and be sure to use the chart on the first page for printing accordingly.

💡 The absolute minimum tools you'll need for this project are a cutter ( box opener ), a metal ruler, a mallet, a 2 and a 4 mm punch, two blunt needles and a cutting mat. We use masking tape to prepare the pattern and always sew with 1 mm waxed thread. That's short and sweet but please PM us for more info if you're just starting out.
