Leather bag pattern PDF - The Nefertiti bag - by LeatherHubPatterns

This PDF pattern was inspired by a scarab looking Egyptian jewel we once saw. Bringing you the Nefertiti leather bag straight from the valley of Kings.

- The bag measures about 270 ( Length ) x 210 ( Width ) x 80 ( Depth ) mm ( ~ 10.6 x 8.3 x 3.3 inches ).
- We used 5-6 oz ( ~ 2 mm thick ) vegetable tanned leather for the whole project and it took about 6 sq ft ( 0.5 sq m ) of mostly scraps.
- You will also require a 10 mm magnetic clasp, a 20 mm buckle and a head ball stud ( optional to work as a strap keeper ).

💡 The absolute minimum tools you'll need for this project are a cutter ( box opener ), a metal ruler, a mallet, a 2 and a 4 mm punch, two blunt needles and a cutting mat. We use masking tape to prepare the pattern and always sew with 1 mm waxed thread. That's short and sweet but please PM us for more info if you're just starting out.
