This is a leather pattern pack made out of 4 patterns used to create four hip bag patterns as seen in the pictures.
The video tutorials can be accessed by clicking/tapping the link in the top left corner of the first page of each pattern.
The patterns are described in order of appearance down below.

The first bag pattern:

- Working by following this pattern will result in a hip bag with the dimensions of 180 x 135 x 48 mm ( 7 x 5.3 x 1.8 inches ).
- The resulting leather waist bag is meant to be an EDC holder for every day use. You may fit a very large phone inside, a wallet and perhaps some other things too.
- You will also need a 30 mm belt buckle for this bag but you may use a larger one if it would be the more accessible.
- If you wish to carry it in a lower position and fasten it with a thigh strap then you will need two 25 mm ( inner size ) D-rings and two carabiners with an inner size of at least 20 mm.
- Some rivets will also come handy for enclosing the belt loops and we used screw-in 9 mm ones but you may use what you see fit.
- We used thicker 2-3 mm ( 6 - 7 oz ) vegetable tanned leather and we used saddle stitching along with cross stitching which you should know how to reproduce before buying this pattern.

The second bag pattern:

- This leather working pattern is a digital product of my own design in the form of a 4 pages PDF template meant to guide you through the process of creating the displayed product.
- Working by following this pattern will result in a hip bag with the dimensions of 185 x 170 x 60 mm ( 7.3 x 6.7 x 2.4 inches ).
- The resulting leather waist bag is meant to be an EDC holder for every day use. You may fit a very large phone inside, a wallet and perhaps some other things too.
- You will also need a 30 mm belt buckle for this bag but you may use a larger one if it would be the more accessible. The fastening strap can be set with a rivet or a snap. We used a snap in the picture for an alternative way of opening the bag.
- We used 1-1.5 mm ( 4 - 5 oz ) crazy horse leather and two types of thread with different colors.

The third bag pattern:

- The bag is designed in such a way that it can be carried in several fashions:
- For starters you can hang it on your own belt using the two belt loops included in the pattern. This is in case you want to lower the bag a bit and not pass the waist belt through the upper loop that's sewn on the back of the bag which is another option that comes through this design as you may observe in some of the photos.
- You can create a waist belt which is included in the pattern and that attaches itself to the bag similarly to how the thigh belt does. A great option in case your not wearing jeans or any trousers that support wearing a belt.
- Finally you can totally omit the use of carabiners and of 4 of the 5 D-rings required for the project and just pass the belts through the loops that are sewn on the back. This is particularly useful in case you don't have access to some of the hardware that we used or if you simply have some other belts from some other projects laying around the shop.

- We used 6 oz ( 2 mm ) vegetable tanned leather for the bag and the straps but you may use whatever comes handy.
On the accessories side this is what we used:
- 6 carabiners with an inner size of at least 25 mm
- 5 D-rings with an inner size of at least 25 mm
- 2 buckles with an inner size of at least 30 mm
- 20 rivets of your own choice in size
- We used Fiebing's Pro oil dye for this job and it was 'Walnut' and 'Saddle tan' in this particular instance, in case you wish to reproduce the color of the reference model.
- You may use whatever tool you have at hand for punching out the stitching holes but should you happen to have access to a Craftool 3 mm punching chisel set, it would considerably lower the amount of work as the holes are spaced to suit using such tools. You may google ‘Tandy 88045-6’ for more information.

The fourth bag pattern:

- The bag measures about 180 x 133 x 55 mm ( ~7 x 5 x 2 inches ).
- I used thicker 3 mm ( 6-7 oz ) leather when making this item and I used saddle stitching along with cross stitching which you should know how to reproduce before buying this pattern.
- You will also need a 35 mm in total length ( or less, although the gauge needs to be 24 or less mm ) D ring along with two screw in ball head studs.
- The pattern is fairly easy to follow and the product should take about 3 hours to reproduce.
- You may use whatever tool you have at hand for punching out the stitching holes but should you happen to have access to a Craftool 3 mm punching chisel set, it would considerably lower the amount of work as the holes are spaced to suit using such tools. You may google ‘Tandy 88045-6’ for more information.
